splitboarding 4.21 & 4.22

i went splitboarding after work on monday and tuesday. monday was a solo mission and on tuesday i went w/a friend. it's really nice to get away from the city, even if it's just for a couple hours and costs $25 in gas.

if you don't know, a splitboard is a snowboard that 'splits' in half to a pair of skis. by using 'skins' you can ascend the mountain in ski-mode without sliding backwards. you can google voile or prior to find out more. now that the chairlift-served seaon is ending (even though we have over 100" at snoqualmie and 200" at baker) i'll be doing a lot of splitboaridng or snowmobiling. ta.
